People Talk: Where does Santa come from? How does he get here?

Asked at the grand finale of the El Dorado Hills Firefighters Association’s 2011 Santa Run     Cameron Landry, 8, El Dorado Hills: “He flies from the North Pole to a spot in the woods and they (the firefighters) meet him and put him up there on the truck. It’s a secret location.”

Santa Run finale sparkles

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived with a bang at Town Center Sunday night. The grand finale of the Fire Department’s week-long rolling Christmas party known as the “Santa Run,” included with a 10-minute fireworks show this year. The annual event, now in its 48th year, is put on the El Dorado Hills Firefighters Association.
