A new school immunization law requires all California students entering seventh through 12th grades in the 2011-12 school year to be immunized with a pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine booster called Tdap if they have not already received one on or after their 7th birthday.
Get a Tdap vaccine
• Aug. 2 — Immunization clinic from 3 to 6 p.m. at Light of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3100 Rodeo Road in Cameron Park.
• Tdap is available by appointment at El Dorado County Health Services – Public Health. For an appointment call the Placerville office at (530) 621-6100.
There is a $10 administration fee; however, no student will be denied a Tdap
vaccination due to inability to pay. Bring the student’s current Immunization Record with you to the clinic. For more information visit edcgov.us/publichealth.
