Youth basketball
The Cameron Park Recreation Department is offering its Youth Basketball League. The league is open to first- through 12th-graders. The first- and second-grade is an instructional league and will consist of one-hour games on Saturdays. There is no practice for this league. Fee is $95 for residents; $100 for non-residents. Price includes T-shirt. Registration deadline for first- and second-grade is Dec. 9. The third through 12th grades have practices once a week and games. Practices will begin in the New Year.  Registration deadline is Dec. 7. High school registration deadline is Dec. 9 with skills clinic TBA. Games are scheduled to begin in mid January. The registration fee for grades third through 12th is $105 for residents and $110 for non-residents. Price includes jersey. The CSD is also looking for volunteer coaches. Pre-registration is required and can be done online at cameronpark.org or at the Cameron Park CSD Office at 2502 Country Club Drive. For more information call (530) 677-2231.
