Clean up, shape up and dress up

Community Clean Up Day                                                                                                                                                                                                        Clean unwanted junk out of garages, clean yards of unwanted clippings and tree trimmings, and properly dispose of bulk items at the Community Clean Up Day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Camerado School, 2480 Merrychase Drive in Cameron Park. Members of the Cameron Park Fire Explorers Program will volunteer at this event and collect tax-deductible donations.

Cameron Park Swap Meet
Prepare for a day of fun either selling your treasures or hunting for new ones at the Cameron Park Swap Meet from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive. The swap meet will happen rain or shine and is free to attend.

Composting class
Everything you want to know about composting, but are afraid to ask, will be shared at this class from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive. The class is free and open to the public.

Health Expo
Enjoy a day of health and wellness with a variety of vendors, new products, and many different options to improve your quality of life at the Health Expo from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive.  Admission is free.

Halloween Carnival and Pumpkin Patch
Put on your costumes and come on down to Cameron Park Lake for an afternoon of Halloween fun from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Cameron Park Lake, 2989 Cambridge Road. There will be old-fashioned carnival games with prizes, pumpkin patch maze, crafts, costume parade, food, refreshments and more!  Admission is free.

Old Fashion Christmas Craft Faire
Cameron Park Community Services District invites you to our Old Fashion Christmas Craft Faire from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive.  Many vendors will be on hand selling those hard to find unique holiday gifts. The faire is free to the public and is full of great gift ideas for your friends and loved ones.
