Coaches wanted

The Cameron Park Community Services District is looking for volunteer coaches for the Fall NFL Flag Football season beginning in September, as well as volunteer coaches for the Winter Youth Basketball season beginning in December.

Coaches will be responsible for teaching proper techniques and skills to players in a fun and safe environment. There will be one to two practices a week at the coach’s discretion and games on Saturdays. There are eight games in a season and age groups range from second through fourth-graders and fifth through eighth-graders for football and first through eighth-graders for basketball.

Interested coaches should call Recreation Coordinator Dan Friese at (530) 677-2231 or e-mail at cpcsd@cameronpark.org.
