CSD kicks off summer with a splash

The Cameron Park Community Services District held its Summer Kick of at the Community Center and Aquatic Center on Saturday, May 26, and the community pool’s  new slide officially opened with a ribbon cutting.

The slide was funded by the generous donation from the Rasmussen family and Waste Connections. About 300 people attended the event throughout the day, enjoying exhibitors inside the auditorium as well as vendors outside selling food. The class instructors along with their students put on demonstrations in Tai Chi, jazz, ballet, theater dance, MAD Science Camps and Taekwondo.
