Newcomers recruiting new members

The Cameron Park Newcomers is starting its membership drive for 2013-14. The club welcomes both new and current members to join Cameron Park Newcomers for an outstanding year.

Members do not have to live in Cameron Park, do not have to be new to the area. Everyone, single or married, is welcome to join for the club’s many activities.

The first activity of the year will be a Ladies Welcoming Luncheon on Sept. 11 to welcome everyone back and to say hello to the new members. For luncheon information call (530) 677-3976.

The Newcomers many activities include luncheons, dinners, day trips, book club, bridge, bunko, crafts, hand and foot, pinochle, poker, Rummykube and more. Some activities have either day or evening groups and the club hosts many special events throughout the year. There is a singles group as well as a couples group.

Dues are $25 September to September. Call before Oct. 13 to be in the 2013-14 directory.
