King Fire nearly contained, thousands of personnel sent home

King Fire continues to burn

As of Sept. 22, the U.S. Forest Service reported the King Fire had burned 87,592 acres with 18 percent containment. King Fire continues to grow

Update: The acreage burned by the King Fire has climbed to 18,544 acres as of Wednesday morning. It remains at 5 percent containment. Italy on Wheels a hidden gem

As reliable as an anvil — After 11 years of ownership, Bob Wheatley still loves his classic 1993 Alfa Romeo 2.0L Spider Veloce. Wheatley says the totally stock engine makes about 125 hp and has been virtually bullet proof (along with the car) for 139,000 miles.
