Priest Outstanding Optimist All Star

SACRAMENTO — Oak Ridge senior Megan Priest was named the North’s Outstanding Player of the Game at last Saturday’s Annual Optimist All Star Volleyball Game at El Camino High School. Priest’s North squad prevailed in four sets 25-15, 22-25, 25-14, 25-15. Priest’s Trojan teammate Elizabeth Cameron was also on the North roster.

Mello wins Manges Invite

ORANGEVALE — Oak Ridge sophomore wrestler Mikey Mello swept through the 126-pound weight class last weekend to capture the Marty Manges Invitational title at Casa Roble High.
