		<description><![CDATA[I agree kids definitely need more time in school throughout the year.  I think one of the reasons the year round approach in Buckeye didn&#039;t work is that not all levels were on year round, so parents went crazy having an elementary school child on one schedule while middle and/or high school children not on a year round schedule.  Day care/child care/parent care problems.  
European and Asian students have longer school days, often attend school for a 1/2 day on Saturday and attend school many more weeks overall.
Now the real question:  How do we fund more school when we are cutting school days because of budget issues?]]></description>
