I find it interesting that the Corp of Engineers which controls the flow of waters tells us to conserve this resource while for the last several years they opened the flood gates to let this valuable resource flow out to the ocean. Why can't El Dorado County find a nice location to divert the water that is usually wasted to a storage location and sell it to Sacramento during the dry years. Personally I'm tired of the high prices and constant requests to conserve when those telling us to do so do not.

As for the funds to fix Francisco they will complete that project just in time to rip up the road when they re-route El Dorado Hills Blvd and Francisco through the park. Nothing in road work is done correctly the first time they have to waste money doing it several times. Anyone remember them putting in the million dollar pedestrian walkway with the beautiful iron work at El Dorado Hills Blvd at Highway 50 only to be ripped out later to widen El Dorado Hills Blvd/ Larobe Rd underpass a short time later. But road impact fees are the highest in the area to barely keep up?

And the school schedule has been moved several times. Now our kids are in school when parents are usually planning summer vacations. This I am told so their schedules match up with college schedules. Here is an idea, why not go back to what worked?

Just my two cents worth.
