Rhetoric is easy to spew Doc, but where are the facts? Did the ‘aliens’ talk to you ? When is upgrading water and wastewater plants per State regulators demands a special interest ? Please tell us who specifically is getting their pockets lined ? Certainly not the employees.
And Day omitted that the general manager responded in the public meeting that the District has already planned $1M of cuts this year which already accounted for the first year of cuts Day was requesting to take credit for. These include over $400K of cuts to employees. Again 220 workers families shoulder burden of cuts on behalf of 60,000 connections.
Enjoy it while your toilets still flush, continue cutting and they will have no working facilities to dump to. Then what will you complain about ?

Very good work and courageous leadership on the EID Board, trying to slow down the over-spending juggernaut which is the other Board members.
Keep chipping away at their waste, misappropriations, and pursuit of lining special intertests’ pockets with EID favors.
