		<description><![CDATA[John, yes, guilty as charged. I have served for over 40 years in the fire service. I am quite proud of that fact. Quite a bit of that time I served for no pay at all. I suggest that you read my letter again. You charge me of wanting to &quot;see the great pay and benefits continue to be offered in El Dorado Hills&quot;. I did not mention anywhere in my letter the pay and benefits of firefighters. My letter concerns staffing and response to emergencies, and the obvious problem that will come into play if two people living in the same household are elected to the same board. I would feel that way regardless of the leanings of the people running for election. If you want to fire shots at the substance of my letter, then be my guest. However, I kindly request that you do attribute to me words that I have not written.]]></description>
