Day supports Dr. Coco

An open letter to the voters in Cameron Park and southern Serrano in El Dorado Hills:

I want to officially endorse and encourage you to vote for Dr. Dale Coco for the Division 4 seat on the EID Board of Directors.

Dale has spent his life helping people, from one on one as their physician, to finding solutions to complex institutional problems.

Dale and his wife have lived in El Dorado County for 39 years, where they have raised their kids, where he spent eight years as the sideline doctor for the Oak Ridge High football team, and where he has participated in numerous groups working to make our county a better place for us all.

He’s been involved in trying to help reform EID for the last three years.

He helped me get elected to the EID board two years ago where I have voted against the five year EID rate increase plan, voted against management raises and proposed a $2 million budget cut that was shot down by the board.

Like me, Dale is fiscally conservative and responsible and I could use his help to effect the changes necessary at EID.

Dale and I agree that:

  • • We need to get control of the massive $370 million dollar debt at EID
  • • Stop the runaway double digit rate increases at EID that hurt our families and businesses so much
  • • Keep control of our water local, protecting it from outside forces in Sacramento and Southern California that would love to get their hands on it

Please vote for Dr. Dale Coco for the Division 4 seat on the EID Board of Directors.

Alan Day
EID Board of Directors Div. 5
El Dorado Hills

  1. Shame on Alan Day

Dale Coco’s just-disclosed campaign financial disclosures show he accepted $15,000 of campaign contributions from Kirk Bone/Parker Development. He also accepted several thousand dollars from unions. Obviously Coco has favors to repay. What does Alan Day’s endorsement of special interest-beholden Dale Coco say about Alan Day’s allegiance to ratepayers?
