Drunk driving is real and dangerous

On April 23, 2012, an article was published in Village Life about a drunk driving accident that occurred on Francisco Drive. Though this article was informative, there should have been a follow-up piece on drunk driving prevention or a program that’s mission is to stop these accidents. I think the article was left too bare and drunk driving is to big of a threat to be skimmed over.

The driver in the Francisco accident was young and is incredibly fortunate to have survived; however, many are not as lucky. This tragedy literally occurred right in our own back yards and could have had far worse outcomes. I don’t think we should brush this off lightly and we should have more articles on prevention.
