Help Fat Kitty City
EDITOR:
I am a volunteer for Fat Kitty City (FKC) which is a feline sanctuary (no kill facility) in El Dorado Hills.
We are having a volunteer cleanup day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 10. A few high school students are joining us for this day.
FKC is run by volunteers and cares for approximately 55 cats. We do lots: adoptions, provide assisted living facilities & seniors over 60 free adoptions, rescue ferals, take chronically ill and healthy cats by appointment. We need lots of volunteer help: socializing, feeding, fund raising, adoptions, foster care, donations, etc.
Folsom Felines is no longer doing rescue/adoptions and now that just leaves Animal Outreach and us in the area (which places a huge burden on both our groups).
This is a fabulous nonprofit organization and it was established by Ed and Cindy Minghelli. Please check us out at FatKittyCity.org.
