Lost flies

EDITOR:

My husband was fishing the week of Jan. 10 with my son at our wonderful “Duck Pond” in Governors Village. Some how he dropped his fly box (not realizing it) and is now without roughly 300 hand tied flies used for fly fishing.

Many may not realize the devastation once he learned they were gone — truly a labor of love with hundreds of hours put into the creating of these insect look-alikes. They were contained in a gray plastic folding box with all the flies tucked safely inside.

If anyone happened to find this and didn’t know what to do with it, I would sure love to get it back to my husband. Please contact me at (916) 502-7799 if you have any information on this.
