Muse & Veerkamp have my vote

I have known Mary Muse and Lori Veerkamp for many years and had the privilege of serving with them on the El Dorado Union High School District Board of Trustees.

Mary and Lori are deeply committed to educating all students in a safe environment and providing them a rigorous curriculum and excellent career technology programs.

Some of the noteworthy accomplishments of the high school district during their board tenure include the passage of Measure Q, a balanced district budget, and a district California High School Exit Exam passage rate of 91 percent.

Mary Muse and Lori Veerkamp are dedicated to our youth and are competent, experienced trustees. Their leadership is necessary to meet upcoming challenges facing public schools. Please join me in voting to re-elect Mary Muse and Lori Veerkamp to the El Dorado Union High School District Board of Trustees.

  1. Mary Muse and Lori Veerkamp has listened and ignored the multiple and horendous complaints about the Ponderosa Football program’s Coach and has done NOTHING !! Kids are leaving, parents disappointed that these School Board Trustees sit on their hands and smile.. Their reaction to this disguusting thing is move…. Parents and children have rights and those elected should listen instead of doing nothing year after year – NO MORE ! Elect individual who act, who take responsibility.. Elect someone other than them. We have to change

  2. We need board members that have the kids best interest at heart. Madeline was voted out during the last election since because she thought she was untouchable and did not have to listen to the children and families in the district … we corrected her but not reelecting her. Now let’s correct Mary and Lori and make sure they understand they work for us, they are not untouchable, and our kids do matter. Each Kid Every Day is the school district motto … let’s put board members in that believe in that theory. Non-incumbant votes only in 2012.

  3. These Board positions are thankless jobs. Long hours, no compensation, incredibly difficult decisions in uncertain budgetary times, and no thanks, only arrows in the back from anonymous people online. No wonder so few people are interested in running.
