Observatory an incredible asset

EDITOR:

On behalf of seniors throughout El Dorado County, I would like to thank the volunteers from the Cameron Park Rotary Community Observatory (located in Placerville) for recently hosting an exciting evening of planet and star gazing. More than 30 seniors joined in on this fabulous group outing. We truly appreciate all the hard work that the observatory volunteers donate to our community.

If you have never gone to the observatory, it is open year-round on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings if it is not cloudy. This is a fantastic community asset for all ages. Thank you Mike Turney and your team of knowledgeable volunteers.
