The ” Good ol’ Boys” of the county are his supporters and are trying to make a comeback to their old corrupt tricks and position rigging. Hoffman’s association with one jailed accused thief is all people need to know, Go to the Bee for details, Court records reveal Hoffman wrote a letter for Daniel Chartraw, former EDH resident, and stated the guy had a large amount of “Dory Bars” in his possession, it seems investors depended on that letter as a reason to invest, they lost their money and Chartraw fled to Mexico. Court records document that investors deposited money in an account controlled by Chartraw through Hoffman’s law office that was set up as a client “trust.” acct. Hoffman has not explained any of this to my knowledge. This was all very unethical at the minimum, in my opinion, if not fraud. This county doesn’t need any more Good Ol’ Boys or candidates with a cloud over them in elected office.
