Too much McClintock coverage

EDITOR:

You gave an inordinate amount of coverage to Congressman Tom McClintock and the town hall meeting in El Dorado Hills Feb. 23. I don’t know why! He is giving the same canned speech he has given for the last 30 years, blasting government for anything and everything from his Neanderthal Republican point of view while he has been feeding at the public trough for decades. He hasn’t had a new idea in this century.

Tom McClintock is an ideologue with no respect for environmental safety or controls in the development of U.S. energy sources. As he said, “We just need to get the government out of the way and refineries will spring up all over the place.” Oh, good!  Maybe we can get one in El Dorado Hills!

I never thought we could elect a man to the U. S. Congress worse than John Doolittle, but it seems we have.
