Unbelievable inhumanity

EDITOR: I am appalled by the idea that any living being can willfully kill another living being. I am referring to Cubby the beaver in El Dorado Hills. The thought of Cubby not realizing when he took his last breath, when it actually would be his last breath, then to be inhumanely drowned, is unconscionable.

I suppose one could make the argument that if one was starving, it would be acceptable. This was not the case. Humans can be as equally destructive cutting down rain forests for profit, cutting down other human beings in the name of war. Where is our conscience, our compassion? It’s time we unite and say, “No!” it is not OK.
