We love our new tree

EDITOR:

On behalf of El Dorado Hills seniors, and the community at large, we would like to thank El Dorado Hills Fire Foundation members and El Dorado County’s Grounds Division for facilitating the planting of a new redwood tree at the El Dorado Hills Senior Center.

Working collaboratively, the Firefighters Foundation purchased the large redwood and the county grounds crew planted it on Nov. 16. This was a major undertaking involving a huge crane! Following the planting, as tradition goes, the El Dorado Hills Fire Department (including Chief Roberts) added beautiful lights over Thanksgiving weekend to brighten the holiday. Thanks go out to all involved  for enhancing the spirit of the holidays in our wonderful community.
