Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!

EDITOR:

The Assistance League of Sierra Foothills has been bringing Christmas to the El Dorado County Senior Day Care Center in Placerville for the past four years. Every year the Assistance League of Sierra Foothills builds a holiday boutique at the center and fills it with donated gifts so that the seniors can shop for gifts and place them under their tree. And the best part is that they don’t need their wallets to shop, it’s free!

For many of the seniors, it is difficult to go shopping for the ones they love. ALSF brings the shopping to them. Each senior has a personal shopper who assist them in picking out gifts for family and friends. Then the Assistance League team wraps and tags their gifts placing them in a bag for the seniors to take home.

The true meaning of Christmas is in the giving, and the members of Assistance League of Sierra Foothills feel blessed to be able to support the Senior Day Care Center.
