Valentine’s Day party
With close to 270 attending, this party was a great success. Thanks to all who attended. I know everyone had a good time with our Fun Time Band playing the music we all like and the dancers love to dance to. I will have to practice my Texas two-step and get out on that floor next time! This event was sponsored by the El Dorado Hills Community Services District, the Senior Support Council and the Senior Nutrition Lunch Program of Placerville. Lunch was at noon and served by our local fire department staff. They did a great job and we thank them all. They also cleaned up. After lunch, many great prizes were given away to the lucky winners. Everyone who came had a good time and went home happy. Watch this column for details about the next party — Spring Fling — which will be held May 9. We will accept reservations starting in March.
