Senior News: June 2014

Summertime … the greatest time of the year!
Warm weather is finally here. Too hot for some, but I love it and so do my tomatoes! This time of the year there are many activities to enjoy; just being in the sun and open air is so much better than the cold winter months. But, for year-round activities, the El Dorado Hills Senior Center is the place to go. Lunch is served every day for only $3. After lunch, stay for the many activities including Fun Bingo, Mexican Train dominoes, pinochle, line dance, art classes and more. Activities are scheduled at the Senior Center morning, noon and night — and even some Saturdays!

Senior Nutrition lunches
Delicious and nutritious lunches are served weekdays at noon (check in at 11:30) at the El Dorado Hills Senior Center, 990 Lassen Lane. For seniors 60 and older the suggested donation is $3, all others $5. This is a great place to have lunch, meet new people and visit with friends.
