Senior News: March 2103

Spring Fling

Well, its spring time! Let’s have a Spring Fling party. Our annual party will be held Friday, May 3. With all the trees and daffodils blooming, it is a great time to celebrate. Sponsored by the El Dorado Hills Senior Council and the Senior Nutrition lunch program, this party will be held in the El Dorado Hills Community Services District gym on Harvard Way. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., entertainment starts at 11 a.m. and lunch is served at noon. Thanks to the generosity of the Folsom Lake Concert Association, we are excited to have the Riverbend Band perform for us. You won’t want to miss them! Suggested donation for lunch is $3 for seniors age 60 and older, all others $5. Our local El Dorado Hills Fire Department and staff will serve lunch and they always help with clean up. We thank them very much. After lunch, a door prize drawing will be held and many great prizes will be given away. Make your reservations soon by calling (916) 358-3575.

Senior Nutrition lunches
Delicious and nutritious lunches are served weekdays at noon, at the El Dorado Hills Senior Center, 990 Lassen Lane. For seniors 60 and older the suggested donation is $3, all others $5. This is a great place to have lunch, meet new people and visit with friends.
