Christmas luncheon
Make your reservations soon while there is plenty of seating. The Christmas Party will be held on Friday, Dec. 10, and is sponsored by the EDH Senior Support Council, EDH CSD and the countys Senior Nutrition Program. Doors open at 10:30 a.m., with entertainment starting at 11. Lunch is served at noon. The suggested donation for lunch is $3 for seniors age 60 and up; all others $5. Our El Dorado Hills Fire Department will serve and clean up. Thanks to the El Dorado Hills Rotary Club we will enjoy delicious banana splits, our annual tradition at this party. Fun Bingo
Fun Bingo is played every Monday and Thursday at 12:30 p.m. at the Senior Center on Lassen Lane. Each player must buy two cards at $1.50 each ($3). Additional Bingo cards are available for purchase. The prize for each Bingo is a $5 gift card from our local Raleys or Nugget stores. Join us for some Bingo fun!

Senior lunches
Senior nutritional lunches are served weekdays at noon, except holidays, at the El Dorado Hills Senior Center, 990 Lassen Lane. For seniors 60 and older the suggested donation is $3; all others $5. The lunches are tasty and provide a balanced meal, plus an opportunity for seniors to socialize and make new friends. Senior Center activities are scheduled daily before and after lunch.

Senior Center programs
There are many great programs coming to your Senior Center in November. Join us for Ukulele Lessons, Bridge Workshops, a guest speaker from Sierra Wildlife Rescue will bring live birds of prey, Wreath Making from all natural materials, Guest Speaker Bob Billingsley, Know the 10 Signs of Alzheimers presented by the Alzheimers Association, Get to Know Your Digital Camera Workshop, and Meet Hangtown Hank the search and rescue dog from the Placerville Police Department. October birthdays
The following local seniors celebrated birthdays in October: Bob Webb, Evelyn Weick, Peggy Jaynes, Gwen Garren, Esther Kramer and Helen Macys. Happy birthday to all!
