Animals go wild at Sac Fine Arts Center
Animals have taken over the Sacramento Fine Arts Center. The Animal House annual fine arts exhibition runs Feb. 19 through March 9.
The them for this eighth annual juried fine art exhibition of animal-themed works is “It’s a ZOO Out there!” The exhibit is co-sponsored by Sacramento Fine Arts Center, Carmichael Recreation and Park District,Sacramento SPCA and Sacramento Audubon Society.
The Sacramento Fine Arts Center and Sacramento SPCA will host an animal rescue and artist award presentation during a show-closing Second Saturday Reception from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on March 9. Food and refreshments will be served. Guitarist Dan McGee will perform live.
The Sacramento Fine Arts Center is located at 5330B Gibbons Drive in Carmichael. Gallery hours are 11 a..m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. For more information call (916) 971-3713 or visit sacfinearts.org.
