Art Association show closes Nov. 5

The Diamond Springs Art Association’s Fall Art Show and Sale is now on display at the El Dorado County Government Center, 360 Fair Lane, building B, through Friday, Nov. 5. The exhibit is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Friday, when the building closes at 3 p.m.

The show will feature portraits, florals, seascapes, still lifes and landscapes. The public can vote on a “People’s Choice Award” and there will be a free drawing for a painting by local award winning artist Tom Adam.

The show includes many reasonably priced paintings of all sizes, making it an excellent opportunity to get a head start on holiday shopping. For more information call Bonnie Valentine at (530) 644-4668.

The DSAA is an organization of like-minded people who have an interest in art and enjoy showing their paintings. Call the above listen number to learn more about the organization.
