Art show coming to gov’t center

The Diamond Springs Art Association presents its Spring Art Show and Sale, Oct. 31 through Nov. 4 at the El Dorado County Government Building B, 360 Fair Lane Drive in Placerville, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Friday when it will close at 3 p.m.

Among the categories to be judged at the show are People, Floral, Seascape, Life, Landscapes and this year’s theme, paintings of “Marine Life.” The public can vote on a “People’s Choice Award” and there will be a free raffle drawing for a painting by a local award-winning artist.
