"Fall River-White Rocks" by Pat Mahony

“Painting Where the Wild Things Are,” an open juried art show at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center benefiting the Effie Yeaw Nature Center, is scheduled April 26 through May 14.

Regional artists will submit paintings of the American River Parkway and the wild things that live there. Juror is Pat Mahony. Entry Days for this SFAC Art Exhibit are Friday April 15, 1 to 5 p.m., and Saturday, April 16, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There will be a second Saturday Reception from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on May 14.

This art show is a preview of the Gala and Art Auction to be held at the Effie Yeaw Nature on May 21. Tickets are $40. Call (916) 489-4918.
