Arts Center celebrates Old Masters

Sacramento Fine Arts Center presents “In the Style of The Old Masters,” the first juried fine art exhibition of work inspired by the Old Masters — Gothic, Baroque, Abstract, Realism, Drawing, Sculpture, Daguerreotype, Impressionism, Carte-de-visite, Romanticism, Rayographs, André Kertész and Camera obscuras.

The show, judged by Melanie Marchant Meschery, runs July 15-26. Marchant Meschery is also showing her painting, “My Perugino.” A special reception will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26.

The Sacramento Fine Arts Center is located at 5330B Gibbons Drive in Carmichael. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays. For more information visit sacfinearts.org.
