Big Idea Theatre presents a modern-day Alice

Big Idea Theatre’s 2011 season continues Aug. 11 with the opening of “Wonder of the World” by David Lindsay-Abaire.

After making a shocking discovery, a modern-day Alice through the looking-glass goes on a madcap adventure to Niagara Falls. Join us for a wild, laugh-filled journey with a zany cast of characters.

Directed by Jessica Berkey, this incredible cast includes Big Idea Company members Shannon Mahoney, Beth Edwards and Justin T. Muñoz, and Big Idea welcomes back the talents of Jouni Kirjola, Susan Madden, Blair Leatherwood and Laura Kaya.

The 2011 season features “Thrifty Thursday” shows the first two weeks of the run. Performances of “Wonder of the World” are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. (Aug. 11-13, 18-20, 26 & 27, Sept. 2 & 3) and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. (Aug. 14, 21, 28).

All “Thrifty Thursday” show tickets are $10; general admission tickets are $15 with SARTA/League/Senior/Student tickets priced at $13.
