Something weird is going on at the Chautauqua Theatre. Ever since the new owners took over, there have been strange occurrences and rumors of a phantom cat prowling about.

Chautauqua Children’s Theatre presents “Phantom Cat of the Chautauqua,” an original script written by Michael Bianchi-Rossi and directed by Marie Raymond. The play begins March 19 and runs through April 9. Performances are at noon and 2 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and children.

Chautauqua Playhouse is located at 5325 Engle Road, Suite 110, in Carmichael. Tickets can be ordered by phone at (916) 489-7529 or on the web at www.cplayhouse.org.
