Chautauqua Playhouse has gone to the cats

Something weird is going on at the Chautauqua Theatre. Ever since the new owners took over, there have been strange occurrences and rumors of a phantom cat prowling about.
Chautauqua Children’s Theatre presents “Phantom Cat of the Chautauqua,” an original script written by Michael Bianchi-Rossi and directed by Marie Raymond. The play begins March 19 and runs through April 9. Performances are at noon and 2 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and children.
Chautauqua Playhouse is located at 5325 Engle Road, Suite 110, in Carmichael. Tickets can be ordered by phone at (916) 489-7529 or on the web at www.cplayhouse.org.
