Church transforms for Havana Nights
Cedar Springs Waldorf School presents Havana Nights, a school fundraiser scheduled Saturday, March 15, at Lakehills Covenant Church in El Dorado Hills.
This year’s auction is shaping up to be a fantastic party with mojitos, salsa music, delicious food, a photo booth, amazing prizes and fun while supporting the school. Invite all your friends, family, co-workers to this party with a purpose.
Auction prizes include a beautiful chicken coop (we venture to call it a chicken palace) and other fabulous prizes; there is truly something for everyone. All proceeds from the auction go directly to our school; everyone should plan to do their birthday/holiday and regular shopping at the event.
Absentee bidding is permitted for those who can’t attend but would still like to participate. Even friends and family from out of the area can absentee bid as well as contribute directly to the school’s Fund-a-Need.
The Havana Nights walking dinner begins at 5 p.m., allowing guests to freely dine as they shop throughout the night. Menu items include: assorted artisan cheeses from Shaft’s Cheese, appetizers from Zac Jack Bistro in Cameron Park and specialties created by Cedar Springs’ own team of culinary geniuses — sofrito chicken, veggie skewers, Cuban pulled pork sliders, empanadas (both meat and veggie), black beans and rice, black bean fritters with mojo sauce as well as other Caribbean-inspired delicious dishes.
Tickets are $70 each or two for $120. Lakehills Covenant Church is located at 7000 Rossmore Lane in El Dorado Hills. For more information about Havana Nights, to view auction items and to purchase tickets, visit cedarspringsonline.com.
