It’s a very ‘Pooh’ Christmas at Big Idea Theatre

Eeyore has lost his tail! How can he enjoy Christmas without it? Not to fear! Winnie-the-Pooh and his courageous lot of colorful friends come to the rescue in Little BIT’s production of “A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail.”

Big Idea Theatre brings this story to the stage. Children in attendance will be invited to join in the festivities.

Showtimes are 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 5 through Dec. 3. Tickets are $5, except Nov. 19 and 26.

A special performance at 2 p.m. on Nov. 19 includes a Pooh Bear & Friends “Time For a Little Something” Holiday Party following the show. Enjoy snacks, make crafts and receive gifts from your favorite characters. Be sure to bring your cameras and your best smile to get your picture taken with Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and many more. Tickets for this special performance are $8.

Pooh’s Free Day of Theatre is Nov.

26 with showtimes at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Reservations are recommended. Free day applies to “A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail” performances on Nov. 26 only. Adults are free if accompanied by a child 13 or younger. Unaccompanied adults must pay the regular ticket price of $5.

The cast is:  Christopher Robin (Benjamin T. Ismail); Eeyore  (Christopher Lamb); Piglet (Andrea Kersten); Winnie-the-Pooh (Wade Lucas); Rabbit (Gregory Smith); Tigger (Shannon Mahoney); Kanga (Shaleen Schmutzer-Smith) and Owl (Susan Madden).

Stage manager is Shannon Burkett and costume designer is Laura Kaya.
