Kander and Ebb musical comes to Sutter Street Theatre
Berlin is calling you … head down to Sutter Street in Folsom where the Sutter Street Theatre has been transformed into the Kit Kat Club of the late 1920s, where excitement is high and the inhibitions are low, where the girls are pretty (and so are the boys), where revolution is in the air and the party never stops.
Join us as the Master of Ceremonies welcomes you, the audience, to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the “Cabaret.”
Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret” and “Don’t Tell Mama and Two Ladies.” “Cabaret” is the winner of numerous Tony, Drama Desk and Critics Circle awards and has been performed nearly 4,000 times on Broadway in addition to the hit movie starring Liza Minnelli and Joel Gray.
At Sutter Street Theatre the musical “Cabaret” is brought to life by many of your favorite Sutter Street Theatre performers and is under the direction and choreography of Connie Mockenhaupt with musical direction by Kate Janzen.
“Leave your problems at the door and join the party. Come to the Cabaret!”
