New artists invited to show

Aspiring Artist Debut 2012 — a free art exhibit open to new artists who have never shown in a juried exhibition — is sponsored by Northern California Arts Inc., located at Sacramento Fine Arts Center, 5330B Gibbons Drive in Carmichael.

All media accepted — drawing, mixed media, oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, photography, and sculpture. The show is open to artists high school age through adult. Show dates are Jan. 31 through Feb. 18. The fine arts center is open Tuesday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Second Saturday Reception with awards presentation will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 11.

Do want to enter or know an artist who qualifies? Hand deliver artwork between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21, and between 6 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Limit one art work per artist; there is no entry fee.
WASH Inc. High School Scholarship Watercolor Show will share the gallery.
