Nov. 4 deadline to join master dance class
On Nov. 12, theatrical dancers of moderate to high skill levels can experience a master dance class with DeWitt Cooper III, a cast member from the national touring company of “In the Heights,” a Tony Awards-winning musical.
The class is open to dancers 14 and older with at least 3 years of experience.
DeWitt holds a MFA in contemporary dance and has appeared in productions of “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Anything Goes” and “Finding Nemo.” He is co-founder of the Cooper Morgan Dance Project in Jacksonville.
“In the Heights” is playing at the Wells Fargo Pavilion, 1301 L St., Nov. 3-14.
