PAA goes 3-dimensional

The Placerville Arts Association’s 3-dimensional artists will have a special show in downtown Placerville at the El Dorado Art Council Gallery at 459 Main St., Jan. 9 through Feb. 11. This is the second show presented by the Placerville Arts Association which features 3D works. This unique show is a must for the collector.

Viewers will see decorated gourds, one of a kind jewelry, ceramic masks, stone sculptures, mosaics, wood turning and wall sculptures. Some of the artwork will be utilitarian and all will be decorative. All works of art are available for sale. Part of the sale price will go to EDAC for the support of the arts here in El Dorado County and part will go towards scholarships sponsored by PAA. There will be a reception on Saturday, Jan. 21, during Third Saturday.

Another feature of this show will be 20 artists presenting original paintings mounted as a theme in a 3 x 3 configuration. Each piece will be 8 inches by 8 inches and will be sold as a collection of nine paintings or can be sold as individual pieces.
