Artist shares her colorful work

During October El Dorado County artist Marjorie Dodrill will display her oil and acrylic landscapes, seascapes and large detailed flowers and several local galleries.

Her work will be on view at the International Art Show “Bold Expressions” through Oct. 29 at the Sacramento Fine Art Center, 5330-B Gibbons Drive in Carmichael. She had two paintings juried into the show.

She will be showing landscapes at the El Dorado Arts Council ArtSpace, 459 Main St. in Placerville, Landscape Show from Oct. 11 to Nov. 12.

Pop Art Gallery, 254 Main St. in Placerville, will feature her large canvas flowers in oil, acrylic and giclee the entire month of October.

Dodrill’s art is also hanging in the Fire and Rain Galleries, 609 Sutter St. in Folsom and 4359 Town Center Blvd., Suite 112 B, in El Dorado Hills.
