Region’s finest artists all in one place

2013 Best of Show, "Cutting Board" by Leslie DuPratt"

Magnum Opus XXV, Sacramento Fine Arts Center’s annual open show, July 29 through Aug. 16, is open to the region’s finest artists showing original art, sculpture, photography, painting — all mediums.

The show’s judge is Gayle Rappaport-Weiland. Artists interested in submitting their work may download the entry form from sacfinearts.org. The gallery will accept submissions from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 18, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 19.

A special reception will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9.

The Sacramento Fine Arts Center is located at 5330B Gibbons Drive in Carmichael. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays.
