“Showtune” brings the music of Jerry Herman to Sutter Street Theatre

Visit the wonderful, musical world of Jerry Herman, composer of the scores of “Hello, Dolly!,” “Mame,” “Mack and Mabel,” “La Cage aux Folles” and many other popular shows. “Showtune,” a fast paced revue opening at Sutter Street Theatre on June 21, takes the audience on a tuneful journey featuring 40 of Herman’s greatest songs — sure to bring an enjoyable evening to the whole family.

The show is performed as a partnership with Chautauqua Playhouse.

“Showtune,” directed by Warren Harrison, opens at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 21, and continues at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 4 p.m. on Sundays through July 14. Tickets are $23 general, $21 seniors, $18 students with an ID card, and $15 children 12 and younger. There is a discount of $2 per ticket for groups of 10 or more.
