MORE THAN 50 miniature works of art are currently on display at Gold Country Artists Gallery.

GOLD COUNTRY ARTISTS Gallery in Placerville opened the anticipated “Small Wonders” show Monday. All 50 artists in the collective created a piece of art on a 6-by-6-inch board in their individual medium. The works are for sale and on display at the gallery in the form of a giant collage. The collaborative effort is part of several holiday activities at the award-winning gallery. Art will be on display at the gallery during normal business hours, 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. Gold Country Artists Gallery is located at 379 Main St., Placerville.
