Internationally acclaimed singing sensation The Ten Tenors are back in the United States with a just-added stop at Harris Center in Folsom. Their hugely anticipated brand new show celebrates Broadway’s greatest hits in The Ten Tenors On Broadway.

This dynamic live experience is a wonderful collection of Broadway’s most-loved classics sung by 10 of Australia’s most talented Tenors. Fans will be delighted by this powerful mix of theatrical showstoppers and heart-melting ballads as The Ten Tenors break new ground and take on some of the greatest show tunes in the world.

During groundbreaking achievements in the 15-year history of The Ten Tenors, one thing is for sure, they will always give 100 percent to ensure that audiences have a great night out. It is clear this is a continually evolving group. What was once known as a group of university friends who banded together to make pocket money during their studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music has, powered through fifteen years on the international stage, morphed into a troupe of road warriors — respected and adored throughout the world.

It is hard to question the international success of The Ten Tenors. They have sold more than 3.5 million concert tickets across seven continents, and have four gold and two platinum albums, and two gold and one platinum DVD. Yet they continually strive to challenge themselves and their audience. The Ten Tenors’ unique approach to opera, rock and pop has powered their rise to the top; they have created a sound that is uniquely theirs by bringing rock and classical music together. You can expect the same contrast of raw power and soothing beauty in this special evening of the greatest Broadway songs of all time.

“So many people, particularly men, turn up to a show, having been dragged by their wives, arms folded, thinking they’re going to watch us croon to the ladies and serve up yet another watery classical- crossover show,” said long-serving member of The Ten, Michael Manikus. “Not too far into the show they realize we are a group of down-to-earth Aussie blokes that have power and guts in our performance and they leave not only pleasantly surprised, but fans themselves.”

The Ten Tenors On Broadway will perform at 2 and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19. Tickets are $39 to $59 with premium seats available for $69; a 10 percent discount is offered on single tickets for the matinee. Purchase tickets online at harriscenter.net or from Harris Center ticket office at (916) 608-6888 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and two hours before show time.
