‘The Unexpected Guest’: A Pandora’s Box of plot twists

Miss Bennett (Robyn Colburn) and Michael Starkwedder (Walt Thompson) worry as Laura Warwick (Amy Williams) comforts her high-strung brother, Jan Warwick (Colin Coate) in this thriller by Agatha Christie.

A man looking for help getting his car out of a snow bank walks into a house to find a woman holding a gun over her murdered husband. She is dazed and her confession is … unconvincing. He offers to help, leading to an evening filled with dodgy relatives, suspicious servants and a surprising revelation.

Bob and Ro Productions presents “The Unexpected Guest,” Agatha Christie at her plot twisting best with this thrilling script. Director Jill McMahon and cast have gleefully grabbed every sinister moment and applied themselves to make the evening a joyfully suspenseful experience.
