Nathan Klaff of Boy Scout Troop 465 in El Dorado Hills received his Eagle Scout award on Sept. 10.

The Eagle Scout award is the highest rank offered by the Boy Scouts of America. Nathan earned 34 merit badges, 13 badges more than the required 21 badges for the Eagle Scout rank. Nathan is also one of the founding members of El Dorado Hills Troop 465, the newest Boy Scout troop in El Dorado Hills.Nathan served in many leadership positions during his time in Troop 465.

Nathan’s Eagle Scout project took place at Lakehills Church in El Dorado Hills.  Nathan improved the landscaping in front of the church as well built a fence to prevent further vandalism of the church lawn.
