Louis Vistalli, El Dorado Hills: “Yes, very. The cost is reasonable. We were told to expect $200 water bills when we moved here but it’s only about $30 a month. Sewer and water comes to $95. We came from Elk Grove and it was twice that some months.”
Dennis Demmer, El Dorado Hills: “No. We live in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Water should be abundant. I can’t understand why it costs so much. We came from Southern California and it was more there, but they had to bring it from a long way away.”
Doug Waggoner, El Dorado Hills: “The quality is fine but the costs seems high. It’s been going straight up since we got here.”
Hai Keuiken, Rancho Cordova: “We just moved from El Dorado Hills. The water here was very good. The water in Rancho is terrible, but it costs less.”
Carl Curtis, Cameron Park: "The water here is high quality and cheap, but the sewer service is high. I’d like to see the recycled water program expanded to other areas, but I guess it costs a lot to run the extra pipes.”
