Care package drive a rousing success

Volunteers with Hands4Hope – Youth Making A Difference organized and pulled off a very successful drive to raise money and collect items for soldier care packages.

Community members and organizations donated more than 2,500 items and $350 for the Honor Our Troops Committee to help pay for shipping the boxes, which went to local soldiers. The drive in El Dorado Hills Town Center ran June 13 through July 4.
